4 Cute Summer BBQ Outfits

1. Gingham dress

First up, I have a black and white gingham print dress with a spaghetti strap style up on top and a flowy, ruffle bottom.

I think that flowy dresses are so perfect for summer as they’re super playful.

I love this dress because it’s like a blank canvas that you can style in so many different ways.

I paired the dress with some wedges that have yellow straps to add a pop of color.

To accessorize, I added some earrings that have yellow in them that tie in with the shoes and a wicker bag.

2. White shorts 

Shorts are another great piece that you can wear for a barbecue. These white ones are in an oversized style and have a paper-bag waist.

If you’re not a fan of super tight cut-offs, a pair of shorts like these are your best bet. I’ve paired the shorts with a floral-printed top which I love because I feel like it really makes a statement, and I also really like the poofy style on the shoulders.

I added a purple belt to cinch the waist, and of course, purple ties in with the design on the top.

For shoes, I went with flat sandals that are super comfy. They’re also in the same lilac color as the belt and have some gold chain detail on the front that gives them that extra oomph.

To accessorize, I kept it simple with a pair of gold hoop earrings, the top is a statement top, so I didn't want to over-accessorize.

A small clear see-through bag and a pair of sunglasses finish off the look.

3. Printed jumpsuit

Here, I’m wearing a long pants jumpsuit that’s a great option if you want to keep your legs away from mosquitoes. It’s in a fresh, flowy material which is great for the summer.

The jumpsuit is in a polka dot print and has gorgeous flowy sleeves. I styled the jumpsuit with the belt that it came with but you can switch it out for a different belt if you prefer.

For shoes, I went with another pair of flat sandals that are in white and the front has a beaded style to them.

Adding to the look are a pair of gold hoop earrings, a round wicker bag, and a wicker hat.

4. Printed skirt

For the last outfit, I’m wearing a printed skirt in a very flowy, light, and breathable material making it perfect for the summer.

I paired it with a nude color top that has shoulder padding which gives it a little bit of structure. I went ahead and added a caramel-tone belt that has a gold buckle to create a waistline.

For shoes, I went for a pair of platforms in brown. They’re great for wearing to a barbecue as they’re super comfy and give you a little bit of height.

A brown bag completes the look.
