If you’re hoping to try a French manicure at home with a little something extra, I have just the thing for you.
Follow along to create these hot pink French tip nails with me.
For these two-tone French tip nails, you’ll need white and pink gel polishes (or try this design out with other colors of your choice!)
Tools and materials:
- Gel polishes in light pink, coral, pink, red sparkle, red and pastel pink
- Liner paint gel polish
- Nail art brush
- Broken marble seashells
- Gel top coat
- Nail lamp
1. Apply your base color
Use a light pink gel polish for your base color to all nails.
2. Make a V-shaped tip
Use white liner paint polish to draw and fill in a white, V-shaped tip to the nails. They can be as symmetrical or asymmetrical as you’d like.
3. Add color to the tips
Layer on coral, pink, red sparkle, red and pastel pink polish on the end of the tips, mimicking the shape of the white polish.
4. Cover with white with clear gel
Use a nail art brush dipped in clear gel to cover the white of the tips.
5. Add broken marble seashells
Pick up broken marble seashells in black and attach them to the clear gel on the white part of the tips.
6. Apply a top coat
Apply a top coat over the nails.
7. Cure
Cure your nails for about a minute under the nail lamp.
Here is the final result of these two-tone French tip nails:
